Great place stuck in the 60's from a design, atmosphere point of view but the food is good. Typical Americana food,steak,... burgers,etc. I always get the rib eye steak. Great,rivals a steak house,steak. Great value. Something like $ 30 for 14 oz steak. You can really taste the charcoal grilling. I must give kudos to the owner. He has kept his prices extremely reasonableinspite of our current economic condition/ inflation. Burgers $9.00? He's not adding on inflation costs instead he is absorbingmost of it. There was only 2 ladies working the place they made you feel so at home and the food was incredible. Great Onion Rings and The... Patty Melt and Fried Chicken basket were stellar. The prices are very reasonable, and the drinks my friends and I ordered were great. The appetizers were okay, not a great... selection. We got fried mozzarella sticks, and potato skins. The potatoes came out with small diced American cheese on it thatwasn't melted, and the potato skins themselves were a very odd color of dark brown/black. We sent it back, and they put cheddaron them melted, but they weren't very good. Almost like they were cooked at least a day ahead, and used for us. When it cametime to order our entrees, the waitress was pleasant enough, but after waiting 35 minutes, we were ready to get up and leave.Finally, the waitress came back, and we told her we were getting upset, and she said our food would be at our table in a moment.7 and a half minutes later it finally showed up, and it was 'meh' at best. Just for reference, one person ordered a cobb salad,another ordered a steak salad, and I ordered a grilled chicken and bacon sandwich with bacon.
