Was not happy with the vegetable spring rolls. There were plastic like strings inside the rolls. I threw the entire rolls away.... There should never be stringy plastic rubbery strings inside spring rolls. It also had a strange smell. I won't be buying thatagain. Thai food is not like this. Read more
So we were staying close to this restaurant n hence decided to go for this restaurant. Let me say right away that the food was... great! However, when you walk inside a restaurant you expect the whole experience to be pleasant and not just the food! The ladyserver/usherer etc etc was very rude n unfriendly as if she did a favor on us by letting us eat! The food came in 3 parts withlong waits in between. We ordered 3 dishes. Atleast 30% of the place was empty. At the end when I waived for a check the ladysaid "hold on" n then it took atleast 20 minutes for us to get the check n pay up. Also it happened because the gentleman whowas probably the owner came n apologized for the delay n thst is because we called him after 10 minutes had passed! I have always had a great meal. The service is one of the reasons I return. If you like Thai food you can't go wrong here.
Had a craving for Thai today and Thai Excursion did not disappoint! Friendly, attentive staff and the food was rich and very... flavorful, too! The Bangkok rolls (the best I?ve ever had!) and Duck Panang curry were excellent! Will definitely visit againnext time I?m in the area.
