My sister and I went to Newport Creamery and about a week ago. We both ordered a sandwich that was listed in the menu for 11.99.... It came with bacon for which my sister doesn't eat so she told the waitress she couldn't have it. I ordered a coffee and sheordered a soda. When we got the bill it was 50 dollars. We also had a cup of chowder. On the bill I was charged 15.99 and mysister was charged 13.99. When we asked the waitress about it she made up some story about it not being the actual sandwiches weordered. When she took the order she was shown from the menu what sandwiches we wanted. This is not the first time we have beenover charged. This was a complete ripoff.We use to enjoy going here because it was fairly priced. But not if the waitress isgoing to overcharge the people. Went to this location for the first time and instantly regretted it. Go to Cranston or Seekonk instead. Stood for a while to be... seated, once the woman came over she didn't say a word and took us to our table. We then waited for a long time for the waitressto come over, and when she did she was very rude and seemed annoyed with us. It took a very long time for our breakfast toarrive, and after that no one came back at all. I had to walk up to the counter to ask for ketchup, no one came back to give usrefills, and we then waited a very long time to get our check. For a very small location with not too many customers, I don'tknow why the service was so slow and the waitresses so rude. A woman at the table behind us left without eating her food due tothe quality, and the couple in front of us was also upset with the service. Will not be returning to this location. Read more
Went there about a week ago, every single ice cream order was wrong, ordered a 3 scoop, 2 2 scoops and a 1 scoop no whip cream. ... Got home to give them to my kids and wife, every single one was a 1 scoop and all had whip cream. Was charged for what Iordered though. Ordered breakfast delivery today and missing half my meal. Missing 3 pancakes, 3 bacon strips and got Englishmuffin instead of wheat toast. This place has gone down the hole bad. Read more
