We came here after a business conference and it was after 8pm so not super busy. I decided on the special salmon they had on... offer tonight. Avocado and tomato salsa with jasmine rice and shaved brussel sprouts. My food looked great but lacked flavor.Rice was terrible! Brussel sprouts were thinly cut but undercooked. The onions were thickly cut so basically raw. The salmon wasa touch overcooked and it could have used a sauce. It tasted pretty good but just a bit dry. If one item on my plate wasn't welldone, I could have overlooked it. However, when all three items were meh or terrible, it was disappointing for a $30 meal. Ourwaiter was very nice but didn't check on us very often. He came by when we barely had time to try a bite so by the time I wasnot happy with my food, it was too late. I was too hungry to care at that point. The manger did come by and ask how our food wasand my coworkers food was great but I couldn't say the same. I said it was just ok. He saw what I ordered and said he had it 3xalready. That surprised me because I would not order it again. At least he offered to buy us dessert which I enjoyed my drunkendonuts even if I couldn't finish them. They were also super sweet and I could have done without the powdered sugar. Foods are not good comparing to their price. We tried Bulgogi Beef Bowl and Lemon Caper Halibut. Beefs were not tender, not well... cooked and difficult to chew. Fish was also dry and not tasty. Relaxing atmosphere, and wonderful outdoor seating. For an appetizer we got the fries with fondue, and it was super good. The... main course, I got the lemon caper halibut (pictured) and my husband got the shrimp tacos. They were pretty good, but we bothagreed a little more flavor would have made them a better. Definitely worth a trip. I had Crab Mac & Cheese the wife had a pizza. Both were fantastic. The environment is the real treat... here. Loved the waterfront view and the newer Vancouver riverwalk area. Start with lunch or dinner here and then walk down tothe Milkshake bar. A great place for lunch dates! Enjoyed a family birthday meal here for my daughter's birthday. A little recognition would have been nice as I put it on the... reservation but not a star looser. Every plate was delightful.
