Very nice Thai restaurant serving good quality Thai food. I got the roast duck curry and it was delicious! The owner was really... nice and my food came out really quickly. Read more

One of our favorite Thai spots in Vancouver! We dine-in often because the atmosphere is a bit more quiet & "slow" than your... standard Thai restaurant, and the family who runs this place is so sweet! They do a great job in their drunken noodles, which Ialways get. Read more

First time in this Thai food restaurant, we liked the atmosphere. Food amount and price good, taste was okay, we liked it. We... had go to other Asian/Thai cuisine/restaurant and immediately they give you fresh water. I had to asked for water (maybe inthis restaurant you have to asked for it, I don't know). I liked the water they squeeze fresh lime, but my kids are not usedthey didn't liked it. It could be nice if they could ask what is your preference. My two older kids ordered Pho and they nevergave them the sprouted mung beans. We was the only customers at the time, I didn't felt they gave us a good service. Read more

I am so glad that I got to stop and try chef Paul's (don't let the name deceive :)) authentic Thai cuisine. I would have loved... to stay in their dining room since it was so nice and cool, especially at this time of year. However, you can indulge in theview. There is a cool bar area with good alcohol options, and a nice big TV to enjoy while having a nice lunch. From the momentI opened my coconut soup ( Tom Kha), my mouth instantly started salivating all the different aromas that coming such a nicelittle package. The chicken pieces were bigger than I anticipated, and every vegetable, from the fresh tomatoes to the mushroomsand chopped onions, every ingredient tasted fresh and clean. One of my favorite things was finding a little leaf that I assumemakes this soup a must try. You have to pair it with the steamed rice as it soaks all the flavors that remind me of the days meand dad indulged on any given night where we had to have authentic Thai. There is plenty of parking for those who are drivingand it's also conveniently situated near a bus stop. Are you hungry yet? Read more

Edit... Went back. Still didn't feel particularly welcome. Rice on the togo order was a disaster. Wrote a second review on their... second google page... dropped another star. Thai Noodles popped up under the search, “Pho near me”. I was a little surprisedas Pho is a Vietnamese dish, but hey, what does this old Tây know anyway? I would suppose that with the popularity of Phoit’s becoming a required dish at all Asian restaurants. Heck, I guess they’ll start carrying it at the local 7/11 soon. Soas I was deciding on the Pho du jour, I saw they have a Tom Yum noodle broth, which makes a lot more sense to me. A good mix ofspicy, hot, sour, fish funky broth can inspire the attainment of enlightenment, or at least a feeling of deep satisfaction. Sothat’s what I got. Not a huge bowl, but pretty with peanuts scattered on top and the good rich red/orange color that Iassociate with a good Tom Yum. I dip the spoon carefully and take my first tentative slurp, like a wayward son peeking insidethe door of his ancestral home after many years abroad. Is anybody home? Am I still welcome? Can I taste the fish sauce, thelemons grass? The Kafir lime? The oh so wonderful chilies? First sip is yes on all counts. Great broth! I take off my coat, Iknow I will sweat. I know my nose will run. The noodles are perfect. The shrimp? I wonder is there is a rule that the shrimpmust be bland and rubbery? The chicken is good, the squid is… well I’ll be honest, I don’t actually eat the squid. I nevereat squid. Looks too much like extruded plastic, so I don’t count that in the final rating. So it was good broth, the shrimpdidn’t light my fire, and the server didn’t really make me feel welcome or attended too. Distracted although I was the onlycustomer there and the bowl was a little small. Solid 4 out of 5 because the broth was great and I had a good time chasing allthe chopped peanuts around the bowl.
