If I could rate the experience zero I would. I use to go here all the time, but now I never will again. Me and my bf went here... and both of our meals were messed up. His wasn't cooked all the way and mine was beef and broccoli but I had them put chicken init rather than beef that's obviously cheaper. Not only did the chicken taste terrible, but they charged me a 7 dollar servicefee which isn't something they told us about. When we went to the front to pay my bf told them that we weren't aware of this norwould've made the change to chicken if we knew there was going to be a fee over half the price of the dish itself. The girlcaught an attitude and was rude when we asked about it and pointed to a sign "assuming" that we and everyone that goes to therestaurant reads it. As we were mentioning all of this another lady on the side that works there started shaking her head andwalked off solving nothing which is extremely unprofessional and made both of us angry. Another issue is excessive flies thatfly around and they were all over our food as well. Terrible service and way over priced. If you're going to charge a servicefee make sure the food tastes good enough to charge one and also don't charge a fee half over the price of someone's dish.Ridiculous. Read more
The staff is very attentive and friendly. I was seated right away and ordered quickly, as I was on my lunch hour. The miso soup... was kind of bland, but the beef and broccoli and sushi were wonderful. It wasn?t very crowded, but they seat people right nextto each other, with plenty of empty seats around. I have had their take out before and the food was always good. Today was my first visit in person. The atmosphere was... fantastic. Light Asian music in the background, the decorations were well done and had a lot of thought. Many Asian placesI?ve been to felt empty or haphazardly thrown in. Not here. 2 regular chicken dishes & 2 rolls of Sushi = $62. Then you automatically add 20% service charges AND then again leave a line on... the receipt for additional tip. Are you kidding me? But wait, there?s more. Your sign says that an automatic gratuity of 18-22%?MAY BE? charged, but for a party of just 2 adults & 2 kids gets 20% on our bill. I don?t know why you say MAY BE, perhapschange it to mandatory & let the customer decide if they still want to dine with you or not. Upon confrontation you were not themost professional either in your response & blamed on high staff turnover.
