October 2022 - The long drive-through line around 3:30 shows how much people still like Taco Bell. I liked their meatless... Fiesta burrito for a change with rice and beans plus toppings, and the crunchy beef tacos and double steak grilled cheeseburrito I brought home were enjoyed. # As I describe in my original review of Taco Bell, this fast food chain still prevails forits ability to hand customers decent tacos and burritos within minutes. Asking if they made anything without cheese I was toldyes, just order anything with no cheese, and they made two crunchy chicken tacos with no cheese as ordered. Two crunchy beeftacos with cheese were also made as ordered. # The drive-through line was huge here around 4:30 today. We ordered two CravingsPacks that come with four beef crunchy tacos and four 5 layer burritos with beef, beans, cheddar, sour cream and a cheddarcheese sauce according to the Taco Bell website description. Online it said these packs were $10. apiece but at this franchisein Torrington, CT they were $11.99 each. Eating the burritos at home, we couldn't detect the cheddar cheese sauce. Some of theburritos had little to no sour cream, as well. People usually want something different from turkey after Thanksgiving dinnerand leftovers for a couple of days. Italian, Chinese and Mexican food all offer different cuisines for those wanting achange. Taco Bell is what it is, inexpensive and simple fare that provides a quick easy fix for consumers who are in the moodfor this food. For this reason, it provides a needed service. Read more
Might be some good food here but you will be waiting for an hour in line as it is the only taco bell. They are short-staffed all... the time and usually run out of things towards the end of the day so go earlier. Don't forget check your bag before leaving thewindow to make sure you have everything cause they will forget. Read more
I am not exaggerating when I tell you, I have NEVER spent less than half an hour waiting for food at this location. Expect to... spend at least half an hour in line, sometimes up to an hour. And they'll mess up the order too. And before you try to blamecovid or short staffing, I haven't had this issue at any other restaurant. As a fore-warning: If you want Taco Bell, you have to really be solid on that decision because there is no way to exit the... drive-thru if you change your mind. No issues with employees and food. Even though it?s long, wait time is understandable sincethey?re understaffed. 3 stars for the layout and understaff, 5 stars on the restaurant employees since they have always beennice fixed issues whenever they do happen. I rarely leave a bad review and even more rarely eat at Taco Bell, but when the family asks for Taco Bell this is the only one... in the area. If you cannot accommodate a fast food drive thru, you should not offer one. Easily the shortest staffed, worstdrive thru I?ve ever been in since the pandemic. 3 cars behind the speaker and we?ve been sitting in line for OVER 20 minutes. Idon?t understand how you can even confidently take money from a customer who has to wait that long just to order. Ten minutessince they took our order and we still have 4 cars in front of us. This is not a NYC traffic jam? this is a FAST FOODrestaurant. Does anyone else remember the days when FAST food restaurants took pride in their swift timing?? ?Wait over Xminutes and your meals on us? Going on a half hour?
