Wendy's at Gage Blvd!!! I asked a person to change my fries. It said if is not hot and crispy they will change it. This guy told... me if it was him he would eat it anyway. I laughed! Imagine if he used that same line with all customers. I don't think some ofthem would laugh about it. I usually eat it anyway., But c'mon!! Why put a motto on the window saying they would change yourfries, if they can't serve it!!! LoL. When you don't have a lot of money and you say to your kids, eat it anyway, that I understand. I expected fast food or any other restaurants to serve me what I pay for. If I wanted to pay for cold fries I wouldgo to the grocery store and buy it there, then go home and bake it in the oven myself.Lol.???????????????????????????????????????? Read more
Ordered a double on nbr 7 only got a single. Fries were cold. The brown stuff to drink was not coke! No receipt given. 2... orders of the chicken bites were perfect! Service is great but can't service what is ordered... so sad1 Read more
Super slow service, it reminded me of the movie zootopia where the sloths were working. Just no one seemed to be in any hurry at... all. However, the employees were friendly and they got our order accurate so I won't hold it against them too much. Read more
UPDATE: 4.17.2022 7:51 p.m. 'OOPS, I DID IT AGAIN' I made the mistake of stopping at the GAGE location out of desperation. THIS... LOCATION JUST NEEDS TO CLOSE. We pulled into the FULLY LIT restaurant, with multiple vehicles in the parking lot, because we saw2 employees in the drive thru window and trusted that they were working. When we pulled around to the drive thru menu, before wespoke, we were told, very quickly and quietly, that they were closed "due to lack of staffing." So, why are all the lights on,including the menu board? Are you incapable of shutting the lights and board off? Are you guys so broke that you can't buy apiece of poster board to tape to your menu board stating that you're closed. Could you spend $5 on a road cone to place in yourdrive-thru indicating it is closed, like other restaurants do? I'm embarrassed to say that this is not the first time I fell forthe 'lights on' trick. It had been very irritating, during a couple of previous disappointments, when the only indication youhad that you were not open was the little eight and a half by 11 piece of white paper on the drive-thru window that said youopened at 11 a.m. Of course, this was only able to be read after I had driven around the building and pulled up to your window.PLEASE, just give up. I was much more understanding during the lockdown. But the fact that the other Wendy's locations do notseem to suffer from the same problems as this one is a clear sign that this location is a problem. When other businesses thathave multiple locations are having staffing issues they move staff between locations. Why not this location? Is it because it isthe least profitable? Do us all a favor and close this location so that you can focus your energies on the others. I promise tovisit the 8th & Topeka location and, less often, the newest, North Topeka location. Read more
