I ordered two Philly cheese steaks that took over an hour to be made and delivered, and when they came they were literally... empty. A few pieces of meat and a little cheese and that was it. I strive to patronize locally owned small business, and on September 19th, 2022 I placed an order through Uber Eats at South... Side Wings. Shortly after I placed my order I received a message that the primary item I ordered was not available (a ReubenSub), despite being on their menu. I tried to update and substitute, but was unsuccessful so the order was cancelled. The nextday a charge appeared on my credit card for $22.66 (cost of the other items in my order). I received nothing from South SideWings, no explanation and no food. In a chat with Uber Eats I was told once an order is accepted/started the merchant gets paidregardless of whether or not the customer receives the order. I wrote to South Side Wings requesting a refund since they gotpaid for a product that I never received and have been ignored, as I have been ignored by Uber Eats. Given the Morality and theBusiness Ethics demonstrated by South Side Wings - taking my money but not willing to discuss or provide a product - I will NOTbe patronizing them again nor will any member of my Family and I will tell all who will listen of this experience.
