We've been here a handful of times. Everytime has been on point. Tonight we arrived a little after 7pm, full house. A... server, off duty, decorating for Christmas sat us. We didn't wait long at the door or when we were seated. Service was welltimed and executed perfectly. We didn't ask for anything. $65 for 2 broiled scallops and 4 shrimp in butter wine sauce. Utica Greens, 1 glass house red wine. The seafood was overcooked... and rubbery shrimp the butter wine sauce was not good. My friend also order the tomato soup which he said tasted like it was outof the can. Unfortunately we will not go back. Phenomenal old-school, Italian restaurant! My family and I went there once at the recommendation of a local hotel manager and we... are glad we listened to him. The food was incredible as was the service. The lighting makes the inside seem a little gloomy butoverall it had a good ambiance due to the spacing of the tables/booths making a large party seem intimate. Also has a very largebar if you are simply looking to get a few drinks with friends. Underwhelming and disappointing. Furniture is in poor repair, service is slow, interior is dark, dingy and depressing and gives... the feeling of being grungy. Italian bread without olive oil and balsamic vinegar?? Worst calamari I?ve ever had and notentacles. House salad barely covered the plate and the ranch dressing had a funky taste.
