Loved this place. They don?t overload the meat so the sandwich is not falling all over the place. The mixed Italian on... everything bread is shown below. Bonus points for the interior which is straight out of the 90's. I will return. Read more
This was my first time visiting The Brooklyn Pickle, as well as the city of Syracuse. I had the Brooklyn Pickle Special half... sub, and it was delicious! I highly recommend it. I would have taken a picture to show others how much food you get (bigportions, but nothing ridiculous), but I was so hungry, I ate it up lol I also got some garlic pickles. A well oiled machine designed to service regulars. Excellent quality ingredients, and for the most part, assembled pretty well.... Had their take on a reuben/pastrami and a tuna fish on wheat. Tuna Fish was fresh but lacked any seasoning whatsoever. I'd addsome sort of vinegar-y condiment to liven it up. The Brooklyn special had perfectly cooked and sliced pastrami. Everything's perfect except for the only weird thing is every time in the past 20 years I've gone to this exact location there... has always been a sense of happiness and talking/ joking amongst each so each other. Not the case this visit, not even anysmiles.
