I knew I wanted to try this restaurant out. I came in here not knowing what I wanted to eat. Immediately, Nick, the general... manager, engaged me in conversation and suggested the Philly cheese steak with smoked honey mustard and mayo. I proceeded toorder the rest of the sandwich in the standard configuration. I also got a large fry and hand-squeezed lemonade. The fries weredelicious, fresh-cut potatoes with the skin and all and perfectly salty, and the lemonade puckered my lips. The Philly cheesesteak was also excellent. Their in-house baked white bread is delicious. Recommend this over any other sandwich shop. PennStation East Coast Subs blow Subway out of the water and are way better than Quiznos. Read more

Yuk! What is going on. I always go to Penn Station in downtown Rochester and I LOVE IT, but the one on Metro Parkway is closer.... Big mistake. It was awful. I ordered the Italian Sub and it was mooshie. The bread wasn't Toasted, it was heated. Too much mayo.The fries had fresh fries mixed with burned fry pellets. You still can't eat in there. We go to this location frequently. Most of the times there amazing but sometimes they will put items i did not ask for on. Like... i always get the grilled dagwood and it seems if there out of something or maybe its a new person i will get salami instead ofpepperoni & once i got roasted turkey pieces or perhaps even chicken chunks rather than sliced roasted turkey. This is a bigdifference and i would have ordered something else had i known you were using alternate options. Most of the staff is friendlyat this location. And overall the subs are pretty good.
