My husband and I love to go here every so often if we are craving an old fashioned burger. The service is great. It is always... clean. The English chips are my favorite thing there as well as their scones. When the owner is there the burgers are perfect.(As the picture on this review with the english chips.)But when the owner is not there I feel like the quality tends to drop.This last time we went they added so much sauce on my burger that it was way to soggy for me to enjoy and eat. The food is great! I live locally and have been many times. The service at the window tonight was terrible though. When I... ordered, they didn't even let me finish saying anything before moving on. I got combo meals and they didn't even ask what drinksI wanted, and then they tried to give me my order without the drinks and white sauce. The two girls working the window obviouslyweren't paying attention and were just on their phones. I tried to be nice but they weren't really trying. Great quaint little local place. The fries are really good. The shakes are horrible and the burgers are just okay.
This place was really good. It was fast, but fresh and that seems to be an impossible feat for most restaurants. It reminded me... of my favorite fast food joint from my home town. My family will definitely be going back! It got busy right around noon, butthat is a good sign in my book. Not to mention the crushed ice was the icing on the cake! Read more
