Love the live music, community space, and that they're open late. The booksellers had great recommendations and were friendly... and helpful. They also order any books for customers that they don't have onsite. Great local shop to find a unique gift. Thebrownies were delicious as well! Read more

Always the kindest people, both in service and as patrons. Get your beautiful new and like-new books, grab a coffee and a bite... to eat outside or in, read about the history of Couth Buzzard through news articles over the years on the walls, shop localphotography and art, and even reserve a place Wednesday nights with your vaccination card and your mask to enjoy incredible OpenMic talent. The music is wonderful! Masks are currently (Aug 2021) required while not actively eating/drinking. Wifi andbathroom available for paying customers. They have art and craftsmanship from local artists, and photography and such on thewalls, much of which is for sale. They're a small business in a small location filled with big hearts, big history, and amazingpeople. Overall: Quality people, great food and drink, beautiful experiences every time, and shelves and shelves of bookswaiting for a friendly home. :) Give them your support in these crazy times and I promise you that it will be more than worthit!! This is a great business that maintains the spirit of Seattle from the 90's. A cure local bookstore with a good selection of... used books. They host lovely concerts here as well, including jazz. Read more
