The people are very friendly and the place is clean and comfortable. The food is OK. The filling is tasty, but what is called... a baguette actually comes much closer in taste and texture to an oversized hot dog bun. Sadly a bit disappointing as with mostfood in the U District. Read more
Wow! This was a surprise. My wife had a grilled chicken salad and I had a pulled pork baguette. Both were large portions and... very good. The goat cheese on the salad paired with apple and chicken were perfect. The pork sandwich had a pesto and arugulawas satisfying. 2 meals plus a beer and kombucha was about $40 after 20% tip! WARNING: Don?t use old google images of their food as indicators of current portion sizes. I just spent $33.04 on a small... chicken sandwich (with almost no chicken) with a side if lentil soup. If that?s not outrageous, I don?t know what is. This is byfar the most thinly sliced chicken I have ever seen in a chicken sandwich. When I first got it, I actually took apart thesandwich to make sure there was even any chicken at all. I felt like I was playing Where?s Waldo with the chicken ???? Granted,the sandwich tasted delicious (thus the 1 star) and this was a delivery. However, it should not cost me this much, *especially*considering how very, very thinly sliced the chicken was.
