Beyond fantastic staff and food for a quick staple of Mexican fare.
This place fails on a lot of levels. The burrito was simultaneously bland and incredibly salty and the rice was sour.... How do... you fail at tacos, especially when you're named Taco Del Mar?? The strawberry banana smoothie had exactly 1 strawberry and abuttload of bananas. It was actually a banana smoothie and tasted disgusting. When asked if they could put more strawberries,the preparer glared at us and said "strawberry BANANA smoothie!!". ....???? Would not recommend. Read more
One of the best places for lunch in and around the convention center. Food is always fresh, workers are very polite and... obviously do their best for customers. Only reason it did not get 5 stars is because overall the food isn't very flavorful, butbecause this is the only location I've been to, I don't know if this is how others are. Read more
A favorite go to when I'm at the convention center. The tacos, burritos, and quesadillas are classic. They also have smoothies... which are delicious. Fast and friendly service every time I go. Can't remember a time I've been disappointed with the food evenif I have to wait a while during a large convention. Even if you're just downtown hanging out, it's a great place to grab aquick bite.
