You're going to love this. The amazingly nice Ken Wong has been running this place for over 15 years now after taking it over... from one of his cousins who operated it for 35 years! When Ken took over, he redid the floors, painted the entire place withnice tables and chairs and cleaned up and revamped the counter and menu display. It's a really nice hangout now. But the bestpart is that the prices are still at a flat $10.00! All for a generous combination plate of your favorite roasted pork, duck,chicken, and good ole BBQ pork, with either rice, noodles, or vegies. One of the cool things that Ken added was a small butefficient hot line that he stocks with his own home-made recipes of your favorite animal, fried rice, and steamed vegies. It'snever the same each day so it's worth exploring. He doesn't cook up a lot, but it's always fresh and for sure absolutelydelicious. He opens shop at 10AM. Get there before 1PM because it usually all sells out by then. So. If you don't mind travelinginto the International District, otherwise lovingly referred to as China Town, go visit this long standing and faithfulestablishment and please introduce yourself to Ken Wong. He always wants to know if you got enough to eat and will stack yourplate if that will make you happy. Oh, as far as parking goes, that' a bit hard to find there. I wanted Chinese BBQ. Roast duck and pork was good and a reasonable price ???? would recommend.
I love supporting small businesses especially in a city with so much gentrification. But this was bad! The interior is very... dirty, a very obvious lack of pride of ownership. The food was both cold and flavorless. The meat was very low quality. Nothingstood out to me here. I’d love to see improvement so this business stays around. Read more
