Nice restaurant with a good view of ID/Chinatown. I particularly like the layout with the quieter, more family oriented seating... on the south end of the restaurant while the bar and noisier section is on the north end. The food was good and the staff wasfriendly as well. Read more

This is our favorite dive bar in the ID. Sit at the bar order the fresh grapefruit Greyhound, chat with bartender. It's a... friendly place and the food's really good too. We usually get just a little light fair like the smoked salmon appetizer or thesquid and butter, both delicious, and then go get dinner somewhere else and the ID. The music is always good but not too loud. It's just a fun place. Read more

Hm, been only once so? Curry is fine. Average. I can cook that at home and be solid. 3.5 star overall The Doria? It?s a... casserole dish that is average. 3 star. It?s neutral so it depends on your taste preferences/style. Kimchi fried rice? Awesome.5-star. I would get that all day. That saved the meal for me and why I would give it 4 stars. The place is cool and I wouldrecommend it to anyone, but for food, it?s a toss up. Good food but not my style?so my experience is very dishdependent. Price? It?s Seattle. Kind of high at $15/plate (2022). Read more

While the service was good, the food was not so good. It wasn?t all bad, the potato croquette and sauce were pretty good! The... salads and miso soup were good, too. The veggies table tempura was oily, but good. Unfortunately, I?m stuck on the fried cod, which was hard and chewy. It was a main in our bento, so that was especially disappointing. Nothing was great, but something wasbad. The environment and atmosphere could also use some improvement. Overall, it was alright but I don?t think I?ll return! Read more

This place is located on the second floor above the Pink Gorilla Used Games shop. You have to go inside a building to find... it! Taste: I?ve been to Fort St. George four times now, and each time I?ve had a different meal. Curry udon, katsu don, bentomeal, and meat & garlic mayo spaghetti. The taste can best be described as ?hearty and homey?. Everything I?ve had has been truecomfort food, and each item is quite delicious. I always leave full and content! Price: They did recently raise their prices afew dollars, but with ingredients becoming more expensive, you can?t blame them. I?d say a basic meal will probably cost you$17-19 plus tax and tip now. Amount: Their food portions are pretty large, so the increase in price seemed fair. I always leavevery full! Atmosphere: Okay, this is one of the reasons I absolutely LOVE this place! The restaurant is on the second floor ofa little building. There?s nothing at all special about the location, but for some reason this place feels so homey andcomfortable. It?s a very relaxing place, and great for a chill dinner. Menu Choices: Another way that this place really standsout - they have a ton of choices. Bento boxes with fish, donburi, curry, spaghetti, delicious melon soda floats! There are a lotof different choices on their menu! Service: Always great! Overall: If you want somewhere with lots of options, tasty Japanesefood, and an incredibly relaxed atmosphere- this is the place! Read more
