One, the food is amazing, HOT HOT and delicious. Two the owner is amazing and the place is such a vibe. Three, kindness is... everything. I’m getting married soon and I had a last minute cancellation for my hair. This was apart of a long string ofhiccups and I needed a break. I was craving some soul food, called ahead because I have dietary restrictions and headed over;Theowner told me to wait and gave me some special to have along with my food. My family and I are very pleased with the great soul food we have been receiving from the Comfort Zone during personal meal... times or even a catered event. My husband day is the best catfish he ever had. Even when he doesn't eat all of it, he loveswarming it up in the air fryer and starts its still crunchy, meaty, and flavorful. My kids love this place as it's one of ourfamily favorite when we are in the Seattle area. My daughter is in love with the Mac and cheese, my oldest lives the catfish outshrimp and grits and my youngest boys are in love with the catfish dinner with two sides. My personal favorite would be oxtailsin gravy with rice, shrimp and grits, and catfish dinner or po boy. First big meal out in Seattle and was not disappointed. The catfish was amazing and I haven't had hushpuppies that good this... side of the Mississippi. The chicken was moist and cooked to perfection. Kiddos enjoyed their meals. The restaurant is inside ofanother location and was slightly confusing for a quick second but the people running the society were quick to help out andpoint us in the right direction. Highly recommend you check it out but would say call ahead to make sure there are not anyevents going on. Read more
Why hasn't anyone told me about this great place? I have been visiting Columbia city for years and didn't know about the great... catfish! Especially loved the tartar sauce; best I've ever had. Didn't have room for sweet potato pie, unfortunately. Read more

I really liked the pork chops. Mac N Cheese was not my favorite and kind of disappointing as I came for mac and cheese. Greens... were tasty but they also felt rewarmed and not fresh. Peach cobbler was entirely too sweet for me and I would order it again butonly if I had more people eat it with. These are large servings and that I could appreciate for sure. Read more
