Located in the Fremont area, this is a fusion Indian restaurant. They serve Indian inspired dishes. We went for dinner on a... Friday, and it was pretty busy. The indoor seating area is extremely compact, and the tables are literally less than 1 footapart from each other. There is no way to have a conversation without shouting. Overall, the crowd was so loud that we almosthad a headache by the time we left, and this single handedly worsened our experience. The food is good, but did not feel like itwas worth the prices. Overall, one time visit for me. The experience did not justify the price. Read more
The ambience was good. The food was tasty but quite rich and creamy. The vegetarian options were far and few. The spinach and... ricotta was a confusing dish where a spinach roll was dipped in curry and felt totally out of place with the curry and did notblend well. Other food items were not disappointing but certainly not fine dining standard for the cost. The part which annoyedme is the waiter. He was unable to clearly explain the menu (which was not self explanatory either). He also kept pushing us toorder different items which felt like he was trying to get us to buy more food. This kind of behavior kills the fine diningexperience they promise, especially when you are out with family for a special day and want a good experience and have alreadyordered $250 worth of food. The food was really good and very different from your typical Indian restaurant. Presentation was inventive and I had a lovely... evening with my husband on their patio. Docking stars for 3 reasons. 1- the drink I ordered (the ginger bomb) was plain awful,2- this is not the fine dining experience that’s being advertised, 3- they charge a 20% gratuity by default and don’t makethat obvious at all, so you’re likely to tip twice. Started strong but overall dissatisfied. The appetizers and drinks were quite delicious. The main dish had a fun presentation... but was very dry and not very flavorful. The bread sample was also fun and pretty but not very good. It's probably the only timeI didn't finish bread at a dinner. Still running high on how good the appetizers were I decided to order dessert (pistachiotiramisu), but it was a weird combination of over soggy lady fingers and a thick cream layer. Read more

Make sure you know what you are getting into, this is fine dining, expensive and small portion, you are here for the experience.... The cuisine is “modern style” fusion Indian food, pretty far from regular Indian food (my Indian friend and I basically justasked the waiter to describe what each dish is because we couldn’t understand the menu). Each dish is very well made, wellpresented, and showed me unique combination of flavors. We ordered appetizers, main, and desert. I was satisfied on all three.You will experience absurd but interesting modern cuisine items here, such as lamb that comes with a waft of wood smoke or abubble foam of light flavors on top of the rockfish appetizer.
