From the moment we walked through the door, every member of the B&H team was extremely warm and welcoming. The food was... delicious—particularly the tuna crudo and potato dumplings—and their wine list (and adjoining wine shop!) was wellcurated. We dined on the patio, which had an intimate feeling and was full of beautiful greenery. They asked if we were therecelebrating anything, and when we mentioned it was our anniversary they brought our dessert out with a candle and a card signedby the staff (!!), including sweet notes congratulating us on the milestone. It was such a moving experience. We will definitelybe making this our permanent anniversary dinner spot! Read more
This was a dining experience where as soon as I sat down, I knew it would be special, different from the rest. The staff calmly... hustled, the building and landscaping charmed at each angle, and the food made my soul smile. I enjoyed the handwritten letterscocktail, tomatoes appetizer, bread, and potato dumplings entree. Compliments to lead server, Christi Lutz, for helping me withthe menu and making me feel at home. We recently hosted our small wedding ceremony in the back garden at B&H. Start to finish, it was an absolute pleasure ... from... working with the talented staff to the execution of the event...as close to seamless as you can get! The food is ALWAYSdelicious, but our perfectly planned menu and dinner was phenomenal and compliments were heard from every guest. The thoughtfulstaff treated each of us with personal care throughout the evening. There were a few skeptics in the crowd when they learned wewere getting married in a bistro, but they did not leave with the same opinion! Alas, if there is a downside, it is that B&H isin a lovely neighborhood and therefore closes at a reasonable 10pm so our party had to end -- not earlier than expected -- justearlier than we would have liked since we were having such a fabulous time.
