Our first visit to the Fisherman's Terminal Appasionato(we have now been back and the review is much the same). A great... location, not the best espresso but we'll be back and try again. Espresso: We each had espresso drinks (a latte and anAmericano) and the drinks were decent with a smooth bitter taste upfront and an darker roasted bitter after finish. Definitelynot sour but bitter for sure. We were surprised at the drinks because they come highly recommend. Perhaps the drip coffee ismore smooth. We plan to try that next. We will try them again and report back. Ambiance: The place has a 90s coffee shop vibethat I sort of dig as authentically fabulous. Seeing the roasting room is always fun. Unfortunately it was filthy, and not thecoffee dust filthy, the hasn't been deep cleaned in forever filthy. We were there bright and early, and our table was verydirty. Staff: The staff were sweet and friendly. They were maybe under staffed as they were busy and the two gals appearedstressed. Watching them tamp and pour the espresso shots, the bartistas did not appear confident. This is not the spot forlatte art. Food: They had a large selection of delicious looking house made pastries and ready-made sandwiches. We enjoyed adelicious raspberry scone. Again this is review based on one experience with two people who deeply love espresso, espresso drink preparation, and coffee culture. We will again return and report back. Read more

Delicious and creative lattes that aren?t pumped full of syrupy flavor. Their espresso is delicious and they even have a... different selection of freshly made pastries everyday! Absolutely a better value than going to a chain for your morning coffee:) Read more
