Had lunch on Saturday around 1:30-2:30pm. Lot of seating available during that time. Service was excellent. Food was delicious.... We ordered thai iced tea, stir fry lamb basil, golden cashew nut and chicken panang curry with jasmine rice. Everything wasabsolutely delicious. Read more
Ordered pad thai to go, medium spiciness. Food came within 5 minutes. The noodles were mushy. I could not taste any spice, and... the chicken was pretty bland. I agree with another review that I'd you go to any other thai place in seattle it will be betterthan here. I was disappointed I spent $17 on mediocre- almost bad food. Come here if you want a quick meal with good quality drinks. We got our drinks and our dinner (curry rice on left, pad see ew... right) within 10 mins of sitting down. We were pleasantly surprised by the amount of vegetables they added into the dishes. TheThaiteani legitimately tasted just like Thai tea! So I reccomend trying that as well. Food is good but very bad customer service. Not even a ?hi? ?thank you? ?bye?. Just handed me the food and left (older man who... is probably the owner). So many Thai restaurants out there (Chaiyo is great) and because of their unfriendly service, not goingback. I do feel the workers/owner there is very unhappy. If you want your business to survive then be friendly since goodcustomer service goes along way. Just my 2 cents for you! Was a long time customer, but just had it with the unfriendlinesshere. Respond back- I am very sorry to hear that his father passed away as mine did a few years back so I completelyunderstand, but this is not just this one time and has had the same issues many times before with him from the last year or 2. As you can see from previous bad reviews on customer service this was just not recent. As a business you are there to servecustomers and not just being friendly, but acknowledging that the customer there is to support your business and saying ?thankyou? or even ?hi? would be nice. Just as you (owner) when you come into a restaurant wouldn?t it be nice to have them say ?hi?to you or even ?thank you?. I?m sure you agree with that.
