I loved this place. Small place with just a chef and one server when we were there. Sparse but tasteful decor and outstanding... food. Scallion pancakes, miso soup, and tofu bowl were all excellent. Would go constantly if I lived nearby. Read more

There are no Vegan items listed on the menu, but there are vegetarian items. Disappointingly, though, one of the marked... vegetarian options has a $1 upcharge for tofu, and you must request it not be made with egg. On top of that, there is a $2upcharge to have the meal served in a cast iron skillet (I was not aware of this until I got the bill). I was hoping to givethis 5 stars since it is a local neighborhood restaurant and the food tastes good, but given the lack of Vegan options,upcharges, and small portions, I am giving it 3 stars. Excellent service and food. The bimi bowl was awesome. The 3 kimchi appetizer is quite small and very delicious. The karaage... chicken was confirmed good by my fiancée. Prices are very reasonable especially considering how delicious the food is. Read more
