The lady is sweet and portions are good for the money, but unfortunately I can?t recommend coming here because of how... consistently I have issues with ordering. When ordering over the phone it?s a 50/50 chance they?ll actually get it completelyright, but I don?t make a big deal cause I like all the food. I tried ordering off DoorDash instead in hopes the order would becorrect?it was, but they claimed to ?not accept discounts? when my receipt showed a $10 promo discount. They wouldn?t let mepickup the food unless I paid them $10 directly. After getting the receipt back it clearly shows that the discount is covered byDoorDash. The couple running this place seem sweet and I?m sure it?s just an educational issue with how DoorDash works, but I?drather go somewhere else at this point where they?ll get the order correct and not charge me extra when using DoorDash. Massive quantities for the price. This is not a place if you are looking for authentic Chinese dishes. They cater to their... audience with Americanised Chinese food. The lady was super nice and added an extra slice of cake to my order. English may notbe her most fluent language but they make do. For the price and hours they are open, they?re a great spot. Pay cash and orderahead of you want to help small businesses. Credit cards charge a % + base price per order. Door dash, Uber eats, etc. take30-40% in fees that the restaurants never see. Read more
This place is very underrated. Their Chinese is some of the best I?ve had in Seattle. They make everything fresh and nothing is... greasy. Gen Tso chicken had fresh carrots and peas on it. The rice is the perfect amount of sticky. The people who run it arenice and the price isn?t too bad. Tip- call and order. I arrived with 10+ other people waiting for their orders (ordered via DoorDash). Most waited an 1hr+ for food including myself,... and I had even given the lady my order 3 times. She kept saying her post-it notes were getting lost. Each and every time shewrote my order out, she said it would be ready in 20 min. 5+ customers came long after me, and received their orders before Idid. They all got theirs super late also, but at least they got them. As for me, I was still there, almost 1.5hrs later. It wasthe principle at this point, and my family was also expecting food to be brought back. I was relatively patient, considering thecircumstances. I really tried to understand her situation. Finally I went up and asked if my order was being made, and this isthe part that was the most upsetting. She told me that she was only making orders for people for were there for delivery. Icouldn?t believe what I was hearing, especially since one guy came in to pick up an order for his wife, and another two had comein to pick up egg rolls and chicken for themselves. After I pointed all this out, she told me just to call DoorDash CustomerSupport to get a refund. I was at a loss for words. I hate to leave bad reviews, but when you lie to my face, not just at myexpense but my family?s, I can?t let that go. This was by far one of the worst experiences I?ve ever had at a restaurant.
