1st time here. Lots of menu items I've never heard of. Had the most different combination of tastes I've ever eaten in a... restaurant. Did not like the om gang which is a curry but was more like a dill broth. Everything else was good especially theCrab fried rice and fried chicken wings. Outdoor seating available. Read more

I love this place, it's solid and in my top 5 favorite restaurants in Seattle. If you've never had Isan Thai, this is the place... to go. I've gone so many times, I always bring family and friends here when they visit and we've never been disappointed. Myfavorite dishes are the KHAO SOI -- this is closest to yellow curry dishes people that are at most American Thai restaurants, but it has egg noodle, chicken, pickled greens and crispy noodles, sooo good. It's not a very spicy dish, but for me it buildsand by the end it's clearing my sinuses. For appetizers, the GAI YAANG (BARBEQUE CHICKEN) is great - nicely seasoned with alittle sweetness, SAI UA (HOMEMADE THAI SAUSAGE) is my second favorite dish - has a little heat to it too. MUU PHA LO (STEW) ismy second favorite entree and I almost always get it. It's so tender and not spicy, if anything a little savory sweetness, andis great to pour the juices over rice. Lastly, I always have dessert ROTI that is has cinnamon sugar with sweet condensed milkover it. It's crispy and sweet, plus I like to add a scoop of coconut milk. For people used to chain restaurants that pop out100 types of dishes, that are about large sizes and not really quality.... The dishes aren't overly huge, but appropriatelyportioned. It's definitely quality food, that focuses on fresh dishes made traditionally. They don't adjust spiciness, topreserve the way the dish is intended to taste. I recommend eating with family style with your group. I hope you enjoy thisplace as much as I do. Read more

Portion is rather small, and I personally do not enjoy the BBQ Combo too much. Tried the Monsoon cocktail (rotating cocktail),... which was spicy mango Margarita (suggested by the staff). However, the drink did not taste or look like it and came quite slowafter all main dishes are served ???? You can select either chicken or pork for the BBQ combo, but not both. (Originally, Ithough the combo was chicken + pork, but actually it is papaya salad + protein). Tried the pork, the portion of protein isreally small, and quite dry and hard to bite. The sauce is sweet and a great companion for the dish though, it really helps meto finish the dish. Overall, I would say the price here is too high given the small portion of dishes. The prawn rice bowl myfriend got literally had only 3-4 prawns in it and costs 15 dollars before tax ???? The flavor itself is OK but notsurprising. Personally I might not give here another try, but might be good for large parties for small bites withoutreservations in the area. Read more

Nice restaurant in Ballard. I like the pork larb here. They really make it spicy :) We got there 15 minutes before the kitchen... closed. The waiter was really impatient to get our order, pushed the food out, including the ice cream (on sticky rice) while wewere still having quite a lot of food on the table. At least they could have kept the ice cream in the fridge for us until we?redone with the food. Read more
