I've always heard when visiting a Caribbean restaurant to be warned as they often run out of food! LoL That was definitely the... case with Pam's Kitchen. A bit disappointing to be a first time visitor and there is no wait staff to answer your questions.Everything was through an app...order, pay, tip. Food was delivered to your numbered table. Highlights of the evening were thelive music and the food we ordered was tasteful. Each dish had it's own flavor. We tried just about everything (that was instock). Definitely a go to. But go early to get what you want. Read more

The food is definitely over priced here regarding the portion, and personally I don't feel the taste is as good as other people... rated. The goat curry cost $30+tax and only came out a small portion of goat, potatoes, and rice. If the restaurant is a finedining place we could accept it, but it's not. The host (I guess she is Pam) was pretty rude to us while we came in and we sawshe was so friendly to other customers. We were first-time customers here and patiently waiting to be seated, and she knocked atthe board of "help yourself to be seated" and told us impatiently "just read." If you were busy we totally understood, but wecame in here when they just opened. I don't know if it's because we are Asian or something else. I like the vibe here, otherstaff were friendly to us, but we probably would never come back again as we were not welcomed by the owner. Read more

Pam is amazing and her curries are to die for. The cocktails are so good that with only one you will be happy the entire... evening. The chicken curry was so delicious that I forgot to take a picture. The Trinidad Fruit Cake was exactly like my bestfriend?s mom?s cake! They take their time but it was a 100% worth it. Read more

I agree some of the portions are small.. the side of rice was $8.50 for a very small container. I am Trini so I?m basing my... review on my heritage. Curry chicken was cooked perfectly! The chicken was seasoned well, it was very spicy and extremelygreasy. But I liked the overall flavor. It was weird to have basmati rice with my meal (not normal) but I love basmati rice so Iwas okay with it. The potato Chana however was gross. It was like the chef ran out of sauce and stretched it with water ????? Iappreciate you and applaud you for your business because we don?t have authentic Caribbean food in this city ??????.. I?m goingto try dine in and give this place another go. Read more

I ordered the pelau and pone. The pelau rice was perfectly cooked, soft yet not sticky/gooey. The flavor is not overstated yet... deep. I can't really explain it except it's tastes like jerk seasoning. It's enough for 2 ppl too The pone was fantastic, theover cream tastes like coconut and almond (my fave combo) and the pudding (?) bottom part tastes like coconut also but able tostand out from there sweet ice cream too. Simply well done. A bit expensive but so worth Read more
