There will definitely be a line and it?s worth it. Seating is limited but opens up pretty quickly. You?re best bet is the... sampler. We really enjoyed trying all the chowders. Every single one was delicious. We also ordered an extra 12 ouncechowder. My only regret was the $59.95 Connecticut style lobster roll. Just don?t. The lobster was dry and there was nothingspecial about it. You can get way better lobster in Pikes for $20. I would give three stars but the chowder is worth 5 so weare settling on 4. Our total was $114 before tip and I would recommend stopping by if chowder is your thing. Read more
You MUST try this chowder! Award winning, and for good reason. It is truly phenomenal. We got the clam chowder, market chowder,... and a shrimp roll. The chowders were incredible, the market chowder that day may have been the best soup I?ve ever had. Nexttime I?d skip the roll and maybe try an extra soup instead! Visiting Seattle for a work event, and had to try this place because of all the reviews. I liked it! Some notes: I got the Maine... lobster roll, and the meat and seasoning were very good. But to me, the bread seemed a bit sweet. The texture was good, but Iwas a little disappointed based on all the rave reviews about the bread. Still a very good sandwich, though. I also got thechowder sampler, which I do recommend. One note: When I got back to the hotel (I ordered to-go), I couldn't tell which chowderwas which because there were no labels!
