The place was great. We were very lucky to get a last minute reservation on Friday night. The food was delicious and the service... impeccable. The atmosphere with dim lights and light music was perfect for us to have a friendly chat while eating the meal. They serve large portions that can be shared. For dessert, I ordered tapioca and was very pleased. It wasn’t too sweet and wasjust perfect to finish a great dinner with. Highly recommend it. Read more

I hate to write this review, but this place has gone downhill so much! :( We used to love Wild Ginger back in the day... (pre-pandemic), and have been to the downtown location so many times as well as their newer SLU location. However, I decided totake my boyfriend here on his birthday last week and we had a pretty terrible experience... Our server was really nice andtalkative, so nothing against him! The food just wasn’t what it used to be. We were greeted by another girl who took ourdrink orders, but then a different server took over later. He said they were working together that night so that was fine, itwas just a little confusing. Then it took about 25 mins for our drinks to come out of the bar. I remember looking at the timeand was amazed cause it didn’t seem that busy! Our beef skewers came out cold and dry. The scallops were pretty bland, we feltlike it was missing something - a sauce or some sort of side. I thought the duck was pretty good, and the buns it came with, however the sauce was suuuper salty. We wanted to order more food cause it wasn’t quite enough, and more drinks, but neitherof our servers came back. The first girl was talking to a nearby table for what seemed forever. My boyfriend said it was hisworst birthday ever :( Finally the second server came back and we didn’t want to order anything else at that point because ofeverything. He gave us a free dessert for the birthday, which was super nice though! Not sure what happened, just an overallunfortunate experience, and probably won’t go back. I feel like Wild Ginger used to be such a nice fancy restaurant, it’sjust not what it used to be. The food was lacking a lot, and pretty over priced for the size of the dishes. Read more

An absolute must when you are in Seattle. Two years ago, we stumbled into this place and fell in love. Now every time we visit... Seattle, we make a point to stop. My wife gets the Seven Elements Soup and it is bursting with flavor. Today, I got the SevenFlavors Beef and it really hit the spot. We also tried the Chicken Satay for an appetizer and would order again. Goodatmosphere, good service, decent prices for the Seattle area. Highly recommend! Read more

The duck was pretty good here. The Thai seafood noodles was also good. However the clams used in the noodles weren't fresh. One... of the clams had an extremely bad taste like it had been dead for a while. The cocktail was average. Waiting time was long. Read more

A little hidden gem near Pike Place market! Our waitress was pleasingly funny and personable. We ordered the fragrant duck,... seven flavor beef, and Sichuan green beans. All items were seasoned to perfection and well balanced. We paired it with a N/AMoscow Mule and a black cherry soda which was fantastic. Read more
