The space is very fun with great vibes and decorations as conversation starters (also the bathrooms have intriguing visuals as... well!). Food is pretty solid but surprisingly our favorite ended up being these whipped gorgonzola and poached fig toasts thatwere the perfect blend of savory and sweet with good textural contrasts. A solid date night choice :) Read more

How do I start, this is my second time here and I enjoy their food. Bread and salad are fresh, pasta is always delicious, no... overcook or undercook, sauce is very smooth, not salty, not greasy. I ordered the carbonara, loved everything, except for thesugar snap peas (there were too many for my liking); also ordered bruschetta, it was my first time trying it like the way theymake it, I just wish it was less sweet or at least have a bit of a more salty component. Tasty spot with a great vibe and excellent service. The decor is funky and creative with so much to look at and talk about! The... food is pretty tasty. We felt that our entrees need a little extra boost, as they seemed to not have quite enough salt in themto bring out all the delicious flavors. BUT, I have been here a few times over the years and have enjoyed it in thepast. ARANCINI : Saffron infused risotto balls stuffed with fontina cheese - breaded, quick fried, and served on smokeymarinara. **Pretty tasty. The fontina cheese melts out of them, YUM! THE SPRING BEET SALAD : Wild greens, roasted beets, spicycandied walnuts and Gorgonzola crumbles in a blood orange vinaigrette dressings **This salad was delicious!! I?m only anoccasionally fan of Gorgonzola, but it paired perfectly with everything else and I absolutely loved it. The spicy candiedwalnuts were also a beautiful touch to get that hit of spicy with the citrus and earthy notes of everything else. THE FORESTFLOOR FRENZY : Wild mushrooms and walnuts foraged from the darkest woods melded with a cream Sherry sauce and house madePappardelle Ribbon pasta. **I adore mushrooms so this was just the right pick for me. The cream Sherry sauce had a beautifuldepth to it and just brought it all together. SUGAR SNAP PEA CARBONARA : A traditional blending of fried house cured pancetta, chicken stock, egg and Parmesan with sugar snap peas tossed with hand made linguini pasta. **This was hands down my favorite!!The peas were so fresh and light- how will I ever have carbonara without them again? TIRAMISU : Holy cow, this was incredible! It was everything I wanted in a Tiramisu. A little denser than what I?m used to, but 10/10 into it. I?ll definitely be back formore! Read more

Five stars due to experience more than the food. If based on the food alone, for the price range, I'd say this is a four star,... maybe three star, place. It's good, but not amazing. (Obviously I'm normalizing vs price and location: I've had better Italianin the US for this price, much better Italian for a higher price, and of course amazeballs food in Italy itself, which isanother weight class altogether.) What carries the place is the decor and wait staff. If you're sick of minimalistic, barerestaurants designed by Steve Jobs acolytes, or those faux haute decor but really corporate feels you get in expensive chainsteakhouses, Bizzarro does it right. You will be surrounded by a collage of objects d'art in a warm interior (no minimalist barewalls here), including a plethora suspended from the ceiling, with good background music. It's just fun. That radio in the picis in the bathroom between the sink and comode, and it's actually playing something different from the dining room, and kindaweird too. Strange transmissions for strange emissions. And the wait staff are super fun. I'd say the word is moxie. Overall:definitely worth a visit if you live in Seattle and want to experience some Bizzarro.
