Used to stop here regularly on the road, but since Covid they?ve decided to close the restrooms to the public, as an older... couple it?s not too much to ask that after spending $7-$10 for a couple drinks they have a bathroom available, walked out lastvisit and canceled our order, the one up the road in Chepachet is our new stop instead. I do not recommend coming here if it?s after 12 pm. It will take you 20 minutes to get 1 coffee.
I patronize DD all the time and have never ever had to go ask for a key to the bathroom. How ridiculous having to stand in line... when literally I had to pee. The one cashier was so rude telling me after asking for the key " you'll have to wait I'm reallybusy, are you kidding me!! 8/28/22 approximately 11:30am. By far one of the worst DD i have been to. 2 girls on CT w/no personality. 1 young girl with long... black hair up in a clip, lots of makeup on & the other girl ringing looking miserable. I didn?t catch their names, the place wasso busy & i felt so rushed while ordering. Didn?t get our receipt. When it was our turn to order we asked her how she was doingshe ignored us, just stared at us. No hi, what can i get you, nothing. So we start ordering she says ?yea i can?t hear you? withattitude so i spoke a little louder for her, she didn?t give no eye contact, could tell she just didn?t want to be there. Iasked for my sugar melted & she wrote liquid sugar. Doesn?t taste the same. I work at DD myself. If i wanted liquid sugar iwould of asked for it. It?s that simple.
