Long review. Bear with me! KFC store in Roy, UT For years I have been struggling with this location or several years. Every... few months or so, I come back to see if something has improved. My most recent experience proves and nothing has changed. Ifind it interesting that a location can be so consistently bad for such a long period of time. I tried to go to dinner hereduring a weeknight at 7:05pm. Dining room was closed. I understand that. Staffing issues in my area have created problems forrestaurants, forcing them to shut down the dining rooms. I went through the drive-thru and tried it order a bucket of crispychicken. They told me that there would be a long wait and I said I'm fine with it. I said I was willing to wait up to 40minutes. Then the employee told me that they couldn't cook any chicken. I told him I would wait. She left the speaker for about3 minutes and came back and said they were not cooking any more crispy chicken. What? No need to argue. We left and went to adifferent KFC about three miles down the road (Clearfield location). This restaurant had an open dining room so we went insideand ordered our food. We ordered a bucket of crispy chicken and they said they would be shy one breast piece and would we beokay with original. We were. We had our food in less than 10 minutes. This was a great experience and is probably the best KFCstore in the region. An interesting note: there are two ovens that hold chicken; one for crispy and one for original. At theClearfield store, the crispy one was empty and the original one was packed full. I think this is the reason why the Roy storewould not sell us crispy chicken. They were trying to get rid of their original. The behavior of management at the Roy store isinexcusable. I can't believe corporation tolerance this but they have for years and will probably continue to do so. Read more
I wish I would have looked at ratings before going to this location. The order took forever, the milkshake was melted and had... chocolate running down the side, I didn't get part of my meal... I could go on forever but they didn't give us a receipt andthey have a policy where if you ask for one and aren't given one that the meal is free. We asked about this and the kidbringing out our food said to "just leave." We asked again if we would be refunded and he said yes you can just leave. Needlessto say we were never refunded and this is the worst KFC location I have ever seen. Read more
Went through the drive thru tonight and ordered dinner. Got home and we didn't get any mashed potatoes and gravy. We ordered... extra crispy and didn't receive that either. Can't call and complain because they have the phone off the hook. Now I've got towaste 15$ in gas to go complain in person. I wouldn't recommend this KFC to anyone. Read more
If I could give a negative rating I would. I was with my kid while she was doing Grubhub. We called they said they would... bring the orders right out. They never brought them. A kid came out with an order that was not ours and he said F#$+ it to mydaughter. I called and was placed on hold for another 10 mins. The lady argued with me and told me I needed to wait longer afterthey served everyone that was in line and I was argued the fact that they should take care of it first come first serve sheswore at me she said just cancel the order somebody else can deliver it and hung up on me Read more
