What can I say about the Sun tavern It's the typical place it's been for the last 30 some odd years nothing really changes If it... does change it usually change for the worse. The pizza is good Don't get me wrong everything else is mediocre at best , wayoverpriced and you don't even get a chips or fries when you get a $ 14 sandwich. I can't even dozen places that you can get muchbetter food and better atmosphere. Read more

Gather with some friends for the 1st nice night of the summer. This was 1st time going inside eventhough I've been driving by... this place for well over 20 years. This place is great for the summer months. I just love the outdoor patio drinking anddining with the band playing in the background. I only went inside once to use the restroom. The staff is top notch when itcomes to customer service. Go with the intentions of having a good time and your expectations will be reciprocal. The price isright $$$. Read more

I've been coming to the Sun tavern for many years, enjoyably so. This was my first visit post pandemic. Let me state that I... stopped in for a late lunch in between appointments while working so I was in a bit of a rush which undoubtedly affected myexperience. I sat at the bar and got a drink and the menu. It was 15 minutes before I was asked what I wanted to order and thatwas only after I flagged down the bartender. When my food came out a server brought it to me without a fork or napkins so I wasnot able to start eating. Another 5 minutes went by before I was able to get those items. At the point when the food came outknowing I was in a rush I also asked for my check which I did not get until I asked again after I was done eating. That tookanother 5 minutes. As I typically do, appreciating the efforts of the people in the service industry, especially in today'sworld where most places are understaffed, I left a generous tip. The bar area and the restaurant was not busy at all. This wasaround 5:30 on a Thursday afternoon. I will say that the food was delicious. And this below average experience will not keep mefrom coming back. I just need to be mindful not to put myself in the same position for it to happen again. Read more
