Was grabbing a sandwich for an elderly friend of mine who absolutely loves McDonald's. I opted to go inside for my order to... save on gas . I went there at 11:50am. Thinking.. FASTFOOD and she only lives up the street and she can have her lunch by noon.Not a soul was in there dining in. There were at least five employees on hand. A woman behind the counter took my order but notuntil after I had been standing there for 5 minutes and she changed her apparel, saying she was hot then cold hot then cold andworking there was crazy. While taking my order she was breathing all heavy like and rolling her eyes and gave me an attitudebecause I had ordered the fries for my friend with no salt being that she's 93 years old. Standing there , 10 minutes went by,so I asked where my order was. They continued to cater to the drive-thru. Finally someone in the kitchen came over and asked meif I was all set. I told him I'm still waiting for my order and I gave him the number. He said it would be just another minuteor so. Then the hot cold rude woman came over and said to me" well, you would have had your order if you hadn't ordered frieswith no salt" she was carrying a tray with a sandwich and some other stuff and a drink and went and sat down to eat while I wasstill waiting there now more than 15 minutes. Service is awful, drive-thru times are crazy, waited an hour for my food in the drive-thru.. only for it to be wrong as usual.
Monday September 6th at 10:13 in the morning I went to the McDonald's on branch Avenue. I was on the phone so to be courteous I... put it in the curbside oder. After about 10/15 minutes the order had not had come out. At this point it wasn't a big deal Idrove to the drive-thu Showed the girl at window my receipt She went and got the manager. I showed him my receipt to which hereplied there was nothing he could do I had to call McDonald's cooperate. I explained to him that I had a pain receipt nevergot my food And was not leaving until I got Is either my money or my food. He told me if I didn't move he was gonna call thepolice To which I responded fine call them. After 30 minutesI had to go for an appointment. In that 30 minutes he made noattempt to rectify the situation he just completely ignored me and closed the drive-Thru. I made several attempts to rectifythis With corporate McDonald's but they just keep referring me to the Franchise owner Who never called me. Finally today I gota phone call a week later from equate it from the manager I had a problem with. Holy c*** McDonald's You must completely notcare about your brand anymore. The worst place ever! All I ordered was a double cheeseburger and a six piece mcnugget. Not a special order. Had me wait in the... parking lot for it for a half hour! No one that worked there knew what they were doing. I was with like 5 other cars justsitting there complaining about how long they have been there! I finally just drove away without my food. Get the app, and spend way less, thanks to the daily deals. The issue with MacDonalds is the high turnover at many locations,... so many of the employees are in training, doing their best, I'm sure, but every, single order must be checked before leaving, Don't just walk out of any location, assuming your order is spot on. I could give many examples as to why, but you all get mydrift. Lastly, sometimes, seriously stale buns are an issue, along with barely warm, or even, cold, meat, probably because itwas some old, extra big Mac, or quarter pounder, etc., that sat there until someone ordered one, or made by mistake. Get out ofyour car, take it back, and order fresh. You're paying big bucks for these sandwiches, so don't just let things like that go. Same for anything else...cold fries, or whatever.
