To start off, I will say the food was very good. I had nachos and a burger, and both were amazing, but there were other issues... that brought this review down to a three. The service was the biggest problem, our server was very unhelpful, didn’t even putour orders in initially. They were seating other groups of our same size that weren’t reservation before we were seated. Mywater was empty and not once did our server offer for a refill, she literally just asked how the food was and left. She wasoverall very unfriendly and wasn’t doing the bare minimum for her job. At two points our food was brought by another server toa different table and no one was there to redirect him. Another big issue was the games. It used to be just pool, shuffleboard,and foozball. And it really fit the vibe well, but now they have all these arcade games and claw machines, and it’s basicallyjust a Dave and busters now. If you want to play pool you now have to pay when you didn’t have to in the past. At least thefood was good, but just about everything else was negative. Read more
It was an incredibly insane night and the G Pub was overbooked. We did have a reservation and we eventually got a great table... but the best thing about the night was sitting at the hostess station and watching Cindy do an AMAZING job. She seemed to be in100 places at once. At the bar, cleaning tables, greeting people, serving food and taking orders. And she fit every bit of itwith a smile. Love her. I recently moved to Providence and I've been to G Pub a few times now... and it's fantastic! The food is exceptional (try the... short ribs... seriously), the beer and whiskey selection is solid, and the staff is just stellar. The bartender Treasure isabsolutely awesome, and hopefully you get Cindy as your server - she is super dear and does a great job. Go give G Pub a visit,10/10 recommend. Read more
Among all the good food in Providence, I wanted a Sunday sando and beer. It delivered, don't miss the cheese sauce, I put it on... everything. The pretzel bun Cubano was legit. Also have Lunch on draft from Maine Beer Company... delicious! Read more

You have to enter the building through the revolving door walk to the back and right after the sliding doors the staircase will... be down and to your left, it's a basement bar but Has a pretty good atmosphere. I got wings (half plain and half buffalo) andfried pickles for apps. A bacon double burger with fries, a rack of lamb with the spinach and potato croquettes. For dessert hadthe honey creme brulee. 4 drinks; 2 espresso martini and 2 plum pomegranate spritz. Every thing came to $146.86. not bad for ameal for two in Providence. I would pass on the croquettes to be honest... It was very plain. Everything else was fantastic andI will be going back. Oh! They have a small arcade and 2 pool tables at the end of the restaurant!
