I’ve been here before for lunch and the pasta was great. For this review we just had drinks and dessert. I wish I remembered... the names of these but the one with the pistachio topping was delicious. It didn’t resemble the consistency of a pudding, moreof a custard. I thought it was the perfect amount of sweet. There was someone that did come around for campaigning outside tothe tables which I found odd for a dining experience. Nonetheless it was still good. Another good dinner at Venda. My family came here for my mom’s 60th birthday. Some of the best cocktails in the state for an... Italian restaurant and I think the best espresso martini in RI. I got a Long Island which did what it’s supposed to do lol.These were $13 each. My mom said her chicken Marsala was some of the best she had ($24). I had a taste and I agree. Chicken wassuper tender and wasn’t too thin and chewy like many restaurants make it. Also, their sauce was definitely the best Marsalasauce I’ve ever had. I got the pork ragu ($23) which I never had but loved it. Tasty sauce, tender pasta, nice sauce but thehuge dollop of ricotta made it!!! I spread it throughout and it made the texture absolutely perfect. My dad really liked thebolognese ($22) and my brother’s pasta with vodka sauce and chicken ($25) was creamy goodness. Delicious meal, great service even when packed & great drinks. We sat outside ordered drinks & food and our waiter was super... sweet. We ordered an entree pasta and the caprese salad to share and it was more than enough food. Good prices. Make areservation though! Not my favorite pasta I’ve ever had- I had to add salt and seasoning. The mushroom appetizer was fine. But the atmosphere is... wonderful outside by the fountain. Really enjoyed the wine as well. We got a bottle of Barolo. Read more

a group of 6 of us tried to come here on 12/3 for a birthday dinner. We were brought over across the outdoor patio in the rain... to their overflow seating area which was located next to the deli at Venda Ravioli. This reservation was made 2 weeks ago and wewere never notified that we would be sitting in the overflow seating area. This overflow seating area consisted of a plastic popup table and shoppers still in the store shopping around our table. A truly horrific dining experience. When we mentioned ourconcerns to the hostess she said it was part of their seating procedure. However, there were no other diners there just us. Weleft before ordering. Read more
