What a complete joke. $34 for (1) breast, (3) thighs, (3) wings and (1) leg aka "8 piece meal". Forget the price for a minute... why isn't an 8 piece 2 of each: (2) breasts, (2) thighs, (2) wings and (2) legs? I orderd 50/50 classic/spicy none of whichwere spicy. The biscuits were decent and the "premium" side of homestyle mac & cheese was almost all top layer goop that wasscraped off and probably should have been discarded but since this store is a money grab location you get what you getobviously. Food aside the woman that took my order was very nice which is why I'm giving this review 3 stars and not 1.Apparently they closed the dining room for the night (arrived 7pm on Friday night 9/23/2022) but she still allowed me to orderjust not dine in. There were 4 other customers eating in the dining room when I arrived and 2 waiting for orders. When I triedto enter the restaurant another customer was trying to exit but the doors were locked with what appeared to be a cotter pinwhich prevented anyone from leaving (or entering) the building. This is a major fire code violation. Neither of us understoodwhy the door wouldn't open then we both noticed the silver cotter pin and once he removed it the door opened allowing him toexit so I entered as there was no other indication that the restraunt was closed. Bright lights. A customer at the register. Acustomer waiting. 4 people eating. A line of vehicles in the drive-thru. This was my first time at this location so maybe the 8or so staff working were teaching me a lesson which is "a fool and his money are soon parted" so buyer beware at this Popeyesfranchise. Read more
The only reason they get a 3 is because their food is great! Been here multiple times and have had bad experiences with the... staff when it comes to their attitude and forgetfulness. Tried solving this issue by ordering through their app. Have tried thisway several times and have found that they don?t even start your food until you show up to the restaurant. Waiting 20+ minuteseach time after waiting 45 min for the pick-up time the app gives. This also didn?t solve the issue of getting our ordercorrect. Wrong every time. Called corporate and they offered us a gift card, but that was months ago with no follow-up or giftcard. Order at your own risk. Hope they figure it out! Read more
This was my first time at Popeye's. Got the 8 piece chicken nugget meal, I was expecting more flavor in the breading, white... meat chicken was hot and juicy though. Cajun Rice side was bland with bacon? sprinkled on top. Frozen Premium Lemonade wasgreat! Splashed some vodka in it when I got home :-) I'll try them again though, maybe get actual chicken next time. It cost us about $29.00 for 2 people for lunch.Their food is over priced ($11.90+ for a 2 piece meal) and compounding the issue... Customer service here is poor they messed up our order so I had to pay for extra sides I didn't want. Food is incredibly blandthe only flavor on the chicken was salt (for their original) my 78 year old mom was so bummed on the flavor of chicken she hadme stop at kfc on the way home. (At kfc I was able to get a half gallon of soda and 12 pieces of chicken 3 large side and 6biscuits for only 11 dollars more than I spent at popeyes for 2 people) I have wanted to visit a Popeyes since I watched themovie little Nicky as a kid this was disappointing for sure. I've NEVER been so disappointed in a place that got so much hype. $35 for chicken tenders that were 90% breading, Cole slaw that... had a weird mint taste to it and they forgot the fries. ???? I would never come back or recommend. Read more
