Did I just smell... DEUTSCHLAND? While walking by on my way to another food cart I turned back after smelling the grilled... bratwurst and heard the tempting sizzle. I lingered in doubt because I'd been fooled and disappointed so many other times by theoh-so-disappointing taste of crappy American brats. Still I had to try, and O' Ja meine Deutsche Freunde, this is legit echteBRATWURST! Juicy, check. Chock full of flavor, check. Hotter than an 80's guitar solo amped up to 10. Check. Oh, Ja, meinLiebling! Ja! And priesswert! Damn straight, Gunther! Just don't go prattling off in German to the cart owner at the grillbecause he doesn't speak a word and isn't really from the Reich, but somehow by the good graces of the Fatherland mastered thesecret ingredients of awesomeness and unveiled it in this unlikely greasy food truck off Alder street. All I had was a brat in a bun. Kids each had one as well. My 10 year old daughter and I both loved them. My 6 year old son just... said it was "ok" but he is 10 after all too young to appreciate a great sausage! Recommended for a great brat. Read more
