I stopped by to pick up a side of brown rice. I expected them to hand me a side box for $3, but instead I got this weird little... burrito shaped plastic bag. They recommended 3 for my family. The amount I ended up with (for $9) would have filled a singleside box, which I've gotten at Drunken Noodle for a dollar. And the rice was mushy. I can't speak to their other food, but hopeyou don't make the same mistake. Read more
If you are local to St Johns then this locally run mom and pop Thai place is all you need as far as Thai food cravings go. They... have authentic specials and dishes that pack lots of flavor at very fair prices. Just a warning, the spice levels are a notchhigher than you might be used to at Thai places. This little local thai restaurant is so good!! We went on a Monday night and it was cozy and the food was great. Service was... fantastic. At the start of our meal, that corner of the block lost power including the restaurant but the staff made it work!They were amazing, continued cooking, apologized even though there was no need, brought out a little candle for each table touse, were so upbeat and funny and honestly we enjoyed our experience that much more! What they thought was going to be aninconveniece actually made us appreciate them even more. We will 100% return here and recommend it. The sauces were all wellbalanced (not too salty or sweet), everything was so fresh, great portions and fantastic price. We shared the chinese eggplantwith chicken, the pad see-ew with beef and the potstickers to start. Def check this place out! Read more
