I walked in there just a few days ago because I was waiting for my food to be done at a nearby food cart. The bartender who was... working that day goes by the name of Jeff... He was rude right from the beginning.... He tells me that I cannot be in there if Iwasn't going to buy anything... Understanding the bartender position I've been asked for a Jack and Coke. He asked to see my IDand so I furnished it. He then goes on to say that he cannot accept my ID because it is slightly bent in the middle. This is thesame ID THAT WAS USED IN THE SAME ESTABLISHMENT NOT EVEN A WEEK AGO. That Jeff guy was there that time too. But no one saidanything about it. He was rude and handed me back my ID and kind of slammed it on the counter.. Mind you, I didn't even wantanything. I just wanted to get away from the cold while my food was being prepared. As I turn to leave he said some slick (I'mtired of you ppl) comment under his breath and me being black makes me think it was a racial remark... Worst experience ever...If you are POC and our passing through there's another bar less than a half a mile down the road.... Cool spot with good selection of drinks. Unfortunately, as other have stated, the bartender (owner??) is rude and borderline... disrespectful. Not sure why you're in this industry if you can't treat people with respect or lack basic interpersonal skills.Atleast pretend to be friendly? Please find a new career so we can enjoy this bar. Nice little spot to pop in and have a drink. They're spicy Margaritas were actually pretty spicy. Overall it was a real good... experience. Read more
