2 stars are only for the good taste of the food. . BUT.. Ordered 2 items, was told pizza would take 30 minutes. No problem.... Came back 25 minutes later and my order was ready. GREAT!! Food had obviously been ready prior to my arrival,, as my pizza waslukewarm. The gyro I ordered I think was prepared when I entered the store.. 20 minutes prior to the completion of my pizza, icecold. Definitely NOT impressed and based on 1st impression, will NOT return. Update--- We purchased 2 gyro's, 1 lamb and 1 spicy chicken. The spicy chicken was not to my liking. We had to pay extra for the... feta on both. There was no taziki sauce. It was so pungent with curry I couldn't taste anything else. One slice of tomato andthat was all that was on it. Looks like they have new employees that don't make it the way they use to. Best Gyro's in town!Clean environment. They have takeout currently due to covid-19 and are following CDC guidelines. I loved the Baklava andDolmas. Got a gyro and swharma plate. Restaurant has a good sized parking lot just off Powell, easy access. Employees were friendly and... professional. Food was affordable and portions were large. Honestly the shawarma plate could feed two people! Read more

ENDLESS good things about this place. I?ve been coming here since they opened 6 years ago. Optimal parking. Friendly and fast... staff. They have never gotten my order wrong EVER. The food is THEE best middle eastern food in PDX (I?ve lived here my wholelife.) It?s hard to find places in Portland that actually give you enough food for what they charge.
