Wow. Would not have expected a bar this nice to be adjacent to a train station. Superb food menu at reasonable prices, a swanky... and mellow ambiance with tasteful decor. Good drinks and super friendly service... oh and did I mention live music after 7pm onWed-Sat nights. Very impressed. Read more
This place was absolutely magnificent. The air and ascetic were very calm and warm even with the live jazz music that was also... superb. Our waiter was very attentive and informative about the food as well. We had the Cesar salad, salmon cakes and crabcakes. All of them to die for. Definitely a Jazz atmosphere. Proof of COVID vaccination required. Cover charge. Very dark inside. This is NOT a fast food... restaurant. Caters to more elderly customers. They have a wine room. I was dressed in jeans and a blouse. The snobby waiterhardly acknowledge me. The bartender lady came over and took my order. The kake beet salad was ok. Guessing I didn't fit hisrequirements. I absolutely loved this place. The atmosphere is chill and old school. The food is delicious but the service is amazing!... Everyone and I mean everyone made sure we were having a great time. We were tired from hiking but decided to go out to eat. I'mso glad we did. The waiter of course was friendly and accommodating. The chef that prepared our steak Diane tableside was theabsolute best! He was funny, entertaining, and engaging. Another chef or manager checked on us several times and carried onconversations with us. We saw this place only had about 3 stars but decide to go anyway. If you stay long enough into the evening, there's beautiful live music and I swear it's like you're transported to a timewhere cell phones didn't exist and you could meet beautiful strangers on the train.
