This place has excellent cocktails and the food is really good as well. They are masters of aesthetics and have cultivated... this vibe which I describe as real old British Empire spy insider. They spin great vinyl. As an Iranian American I feel abit conflicted about praising this vibe but it is waay more sophisticated than your average Portland place so I can't help likeit. Read more
Very cool place. The burgers were top notch. The wonton nachos were killer good. But the fries were out of this world... amazing.. The staff was friendly and very attentive. We were more than impressed with the food here and will be coming backagain. Read more
We tried to go here at 9:45 on a Friday night. Seemed like a cool place, but they wouldn?t seat our party of 3 despite the fact... that they had a big table, 2 bar seats, and 2 outdoor tables open. They were apparently saving the bigger table in case a largerparty showed up (which didn?t happen in the time we waited, so apparently they hate money ???????). We communicated to them thatwe would be flexible and leave or relocate to stand at the bar if a larger party arrived, but they refused. Stood around waitingfor 15 min before giving up and going to the much cooler, chiller bar next door. Read more
Great atmosphere, delicious drinks and yummy food! Drinks were fun and all the food we got were made so well. The fried chicken... sandwich is one of the best I've ever had; the chicken was so moist and had a great crunch on the outside. The tea leaf salad iscrunch on crunch on crunch and yet different types of crunch from the cabbage to other things I'm not able to name. The taste ofthe tea leaf salad is so unique, you need to try it to understand how yummy it is. The nachos were delicious as well with friedwonton skins instead of tortilla chips. Service was great and I loved how they made my drink. I asked for non-alcoholic and sheasked how I like to lean with citrus, fruity, and other descriptors. I chose citrus and let it be a surprise.
