Vegetarian Food Review: Sigh. Waited for months to finally go check out this restaurant. The decor is beautiful. The service... is great. The food rally really bland. Bruschetta barely had flavor and the Arabiatta was tasteless. It was cooked well but noflavor whatsoever. Really disappointed. Oh well. I feel terrible when I write reviews for food that are not good according tome. Yes I ate my food. Was very hungry but it was more like I am paying for it so might as well eat it. And I was hungry. The food was excellent it was so perfect I couldn't stop eating it even when I was full. The service was amazing the owner of... the place came by and introduced himself was very nice and it was my husband and I anniversary and it was the perfect spot forus to go to because we enjoyed it very well. We went there for a date, but weren’t expecting the warm reception that we got! The table was decorated with rose petals and... our servers couldn’t have been nicer. Last night was my 5th visit and the best experience so far. Menu is varied enough to satisfy vegetarians, pescatarians, and... carnivores alike. Portion size is decent for asking price. Mushroom ravioli was smokey and full of flavor. Bruschetta's balsamicreduction was thick as it should be. Staff was friendly, approachable and attentive but not obtrusive. My girlfriend is from Italy and we've been looking for places to try some Italian food besides Olive garden and this place... recently popped up so we decided to go check it out. I thought the food was pretty good. I had the chicken dish and she had theoctopus dish. We also had the calamari appetizer which I thought was really delicious and flavorful. The only disappointment tome was the size of the octopus dish. If you can see in the pictures it's one tentacle which to me would not be very filling soI'm glad I did not order that...fat American I am. I called the place before we went to see if we needed a reservation and thelady at the desk recommended a reservation but when we showed up to eat they didn't bother to ask if we had a reservation. Theyjust set us down. I'd say if you go on a Friday or Saturday you may need a reservation but during the week you don't really needone and they have a bar area. Also you can sit at the bar. Once I try some of the other places on my list I may decide this isfive stars as compared to those other places, but since this is the first one on the list and I'll give it four stars. Read more
