The BEST Chinese food I have found in the area so far...and I have been living here 5 years. My husband and I stumbled on this... place, and I am so happy we did. Large portions, and the food has lots of flavor and tastes FRESH, unlike other Chineserestaurants. Even though this place is about 20 min from Vancouver, we have decided to make it our "go-to" when we are cravingChinese food. Food is standard American chinese. I enjoy it for the price. You are sacrificing service though. Had one of the dirtiest... glasses I've ever had served to me there. Noticed the food stuck to the side of mbut glass and floating in my cola after I tooka drink. They tried to tell me they couldn't see anything wrong and finally comped my drink. It's not a bad Chinese restaurant. But it's just standard Americanized Cantonese food. I've been lucky to get everything... freshly-prepared when I've been there. They closed kind of early for a restaurant like this, but you can order takeout throughthe bar until closing. Wheelchair seating has booths only. I was seated at a booth by myself, and since it did not accommodatea wheelchair I was sitting in the aisle facing the edge of the table. Awkward. When coming back here later with some friendsfor dinner, I asked if they had any better wheelchair options than to seat me in the aisle way. So they ushered us back to theempty banquet room so that we could sit at a table. Also rather awkward. But service was fast, and like I said everythingappeared to be rather freshly made or heated up. Hit and miss. One time we went and had a nice waitress and good experience. Then I take my mom there to eat a few weeks later,... sit in the bar, and had a really gruff, almost rude bartender help us with our meal... made me regret going there but maybe shewas having a bad day. There were some interesting specimens that she ended up having to help while we were there there. It mademe feel she was probably good at her job and needs tough skin to deal with people she has to handle that are consuming alcohol,and coming off 82nd....
