One of the great reasons to live in SE Portland is the number of excellent vegan and vegetarian restaurants. I like them all,... but Kati really stands out. The food is delicious and imaginative. The vibe is laid-back and comfortable, even though it'salways busy. The staff members are uniformly friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. They seem to enjoy their jobs and like eachother. What a deliciously spicy food adventure. Everything we ordered was spectacular and everything at the table was finished. Ordered... the Pad Thai, Pineapple Fried Rice, Red Curry and one other dish I'm not sure on the name. We also ordered the Green PapayaSalad, but it was devoured before pictures happened.
