This cozy little spot serves some of the best German food I've ever had in the country! The staff is quite passionate about food... and hospitality in general. I came here several times during my weekend stay in Portland- and not once did the meals ever miss!Highly recommend the Beef Rouladen and Spätzle. Read more
We had the herbed savory crepes with plum sauce and they were Amazing. I got the stroganoff (pictured) and it's rich and tender... - so delicious. I ordered the vanilla/cherry/champagne cocktail and it was basically perfect. I'm celiac so the gluten freeoptions were essential. Was so happy to find this gluten free gem in SE Portland! My partner and I stopped in for weekend brunch. We couldn’t decide... between all the delicious options so we shared the eggs Benedict, apple fritters and Austrian pancake. All the dishes weresuperb but those apple fritters are to die for!! They make their own speciality syrups as well. My favorite was the lavender andmy husband preferred the hibiscus. The atmosphere and service were outstanding to boot. We’ll definitely be back!!
