I love tamales. What I loved about these tamales is that they weren't dry. The regular wrapped tamale was spot on, but the... banana leaf wrapped tamale was unreal, such amazing flavor. Gotta try it!!! Read more
This is their quesadilla with tinga de pollo served with a guac sauce and pickled onions. The chicken is absolutely to die for!... I couldn't pause long enough for a proper photo as you can see. Super cute atmosphere, great outdoor seating with both coveredand uncovered options. Dog friendly. Staff is friendly and quick to get out orders. It's been on my list for a while to try andI'm so glad the stars aligned for this meal. Real, traditional Mexican food can be so hard to find in the various other placesI've lived so it's a real treat to find so many amazing options in Portland. This place is definitely high ranking! This place is ok. I wouldn't seek it out but I'd eat here if friends invited us. My husband does say the burritos are the best... thing there, so to be fair, I did not try those. One bummer was that there was no chicken available at 6pm...on a Friday. I wastold it'd be a few hours. Otherwise, waiter was nice, service was prompt, pricing fair, and no wait to get in, in a niceoutdoor patio area with a fire pit. Very dog friendly and covid friendly place too. Read more
