One of my favorite spots in Portland... Their pizza is fantastic. Hidden gem of Slabtown. Maybe not so hidden. I almost don't... want to hype it up... If they get the attention they deserve, I probably won't be able to get a table anymore... But theydeserve the business Every pizza we've tried is exceptional. Crust is amazing. The Potato Carbonara is off-the-charts. Thick bacon, Yukon gold potato, egg yolk, rich cheese. It's a must try. So savory and good. Appetizers are great. Always ahandful of local draft beers on tap. Servers are excellent - really genuine and attentive. No pretentious Portland mess goingon - just great food, drink and atmosphere. Love it. Read more
Trendy place for cocktails and pizzas with good vibes ???? Went there on Friday night just missed their happy hour ????.The... cocktails were pretty good. We ordered gin & tonic and Spritz. Perfect for a hot summer night. The place has good amount ofoutdoor seating. The location is also good (right in slab town where a lot of young professionals live). The pizza was alsopretty good. Oven baked to perfection. Highly recommend if you are nearby. Try not to miss their happy hours which is everydayduring early afternoon hours. ???? Read more
I’ve eaten here several times and have always loved the food. Terrific drinks, appetizers, and pizza. However, after two weird... experiences with the server who I’m pretty sure is also the co-owner, I don’t anticipate returning (which is unfortunatebecause it’s near my home and I really like the pizza). During a previous visit, we had a different server who was terrific,but then this other guy checked in on us and was short with my partner, insisting he take the extra plate that he brought aftermy partner declined it and despite it not being needed. Not a big deal, but we didn’t appreciate his attitude. Today I dinedalone and he was my server. He was technically pleasant - his words were friendly - but he has an abrupt way of speaking thatdoesn’t feel pleasant. It’s maybe just a mismatch with my energy but others have left similar comments in reviews. Finally,I ate 2 of 6 slices of my pizza and asked to take the rest home. He obliged and then returned with the pizza in aluminum foil -not a box. The four warm slices of pizza were stacked on top of one another, in a single stack, so now it’s all mushedtogether. Maybe this is to conserve boxes or something, but it’s a strange way to take home 2/3 of a pizza. I didn’t sayanything so that’s on me (though given the interactions with him, I doubt he would have received the complaint kindly). Read more
