The star count is based on my recent breakfast stop(s) here. The happy hour/patio is 5 star for sure. Breakfast however has... been sub-par every time. It's quite expensive given the amount of food you get. The quality of the food is good but our entiretables potatoes were undercooked. The French Toast was for sure the best dish our table got. We were not given the opportunityto even see a drink menu let alone order outside of coffee even though I saw lots of other folks with more "adult beverage". Could have been a few off days, and like I said the patio for happy hour is top notch, just avoid breakfast! Read more
Food was lovely, but we went 1.5 hours prior to a show at Keller auditorium and didn't get main course until 1 hour after it had... been ordered (only other thing we had was a salad that was shared between the 2 of us). We felt like we had to rush through ourfood to get out in time, and no one really checked on us or asked if we wanted a second drink. It was very busy and it was asthough they weren't prepared at all to handle the rush prior to the show. Otherwise, it's a beautiful restaurant, with very nicefood, and a great patio, if you can get a seat on it. Hopefully the service is typically a lot better than we had experienced. Read more
We came here for brunch on Mother's Day, and that the breakfast menu was delicious! Combination of unique and classic dishes. We... also came here for dinner, and we were stuffed to satisfaction! The dessert dishes are small, but at that point, we needed asmaller portion. I definitely recommend this place. Read more
The Nel Centro is known for its fantastic happy hour from 4-6pm on weekdays. They have an outstanding patio seating area with... fire tables. It is perfect for the late afternoon and evening hours. They have an inside bar best used when it's colder 9rrainy. The pizza for $7-8 Is a good deal, same as the lamb burger during happy hour. Couples go here for a date. I came for happy hour with my ex-roommate, and it was amazing. It does get PACKED by the fire pits, so I’d expect to show up... like 2 hours before you want to sit there. There were two women holding spots for 6, and those women didn’t show up until Iwas leaving, and wouldn’t let me sit there; I was there 2 hours. What can you do, though? The food was great, but I would notrecommend getting the duck and muscles ordered together, because that was the worst combo of smells I have ever experienced, butit tasted amazing. I’m also a sucker for desserts, and the bread pudding with pistachio ice cream made my week. Read more
